In order to provide the highest possible flexibility for attending different workshops during TPDL, we offer the option to book half-days of the workshops. Please note that you need to book at least two half-days.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations notified on or before August 24, 2011 will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. No refund will be issued to registered participants who cancel on or after August 25, 2011. Registration fee refunds can only be issued after the conference has ended.

We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Grants for Foreign Library Staff to Attend Conferences and Congresses in Germany

BI-International, the standing committee of the German National Association of Library and Information Associations (BID) responsible for facilitating international professional exchange, provides financial support for congress attendances in Germany with German government funding. Eligible are library professionals and information/documentation centre staff who are actively integrated into the library systems of their home countries.
